Leadership Spotlight: Meet Christine
Meet Christine, our Chief Growth Officer, dedicated to making Avenant's vision a reality.
August 11, 2026

Behind every product that changes lives, there's someone dedicated to making sure it actually reaches them. For Christine, our Chief Growth Officer, that's the role she plays every day at Avenant. She's driven by a simple belief: that the families and elders who need this kind of support shouldn't have to search hard to find it. In this article, she shares her thoughts about what led her to Avenant, her vision for how we grow, and what keeps her motivated to move Avenant forward.
What was the path that led you to join Avenant and what did you bring with you?
I first heard about Avenant through a friend who was involved with the company. We were at dinner, and when they explained the idea of companionship, it immediately resonated with me. There was already so much conversation around AI, but this felt different. It was a very human application of the technology, and something that could genuinely make a difference in people’s lives.
I later met Dr. Ragui and initially started working with him on another project. But the more I learned about Avenant, the more drawn to it I became, and I gradually found myself getting more and more involved. What started as an interest eventually became my main focus.
I came to Avenant with years of experience in B2B SaaS, particularly in healthtech, across sales, marketing, brand, partnerships, and go-to-market strategy. Today, I bring that commercial perspective to Avenant, helping shape how we position the company, bring it to market, build the right partnerships, and ultimately turn a very ambitious vision into something that can scale.
Was there a moment, or a person, that made you realize technology and AI could genuinely change what it means to grow old?
For me, it started with the market and industry research. I was genuinely shocked by some of the statistics around aging and by the realities of what’s coming. The more I learned, the more interested I became in where we could actually have an impact. That’s something I’ve always looked for in my work: solving a real problem and building something that has a reason to exist.
Working with Guilhem, our CTO, was also an important part of that. We quickly found that we had a very similar vision for the product, particularly around building technology with a clear purpose and real utility. There was a shared commitment not only to what we could create with AI, but to the quality and rigor with which we built it.
That is particularly important with Avenant because we are designing for a population that may be less familiar with technology and, in some cases, more vulnerable. The security and integrity of the product, and the responsibility that comes with introducing AI into people’s lives, have been central considerations for me from the beginning.

When you imagine the person at the other end of what you're building, what do you hope they feel?
I hope they feel confident.
That was really a point of focus as we built the brand, because we want people to feel that Avenant is there to look out for them and enhance their wellbeing and their sense of security.
And that confidence extends beyond the individual. We want families, loved ones and care teams to feel reassured too, knowing that there is greater continuity and awareness around the person they care for.
I also hope they feel less alone. We all know the statistics around isolation and loneliness among older adults. We want Avenant to bring a sense of presence and connection into their everyday lives.
Ultimately, I want someone using Avenant to feel supported, understood and cared for. That’s really the whole goal.
In five years, how will you know this worked, not the metrics, but the sign that will actually matter to you?
I hope to see more and more versions of Avenant in the market. I probably shouldn’t say I’m hoping for competition, but I actually am. I’d see that as a sign of a growing market, an emerging category, and, most importantly, that this technology is proving its value in how we age.
More importantly, I want to hear directly from people that it made a difference. I want to speak with customers and families and hear their stories about how Avenant allowed them to remain autonomous longer, stay in their own environment, and feel more confident doing so.
Finally, I want to see my own loved ones use it. I want to see the people closest to me benefit from Avenant and feel more supported and connected. I can’t say that my family praises technology easily, so seeing it make a difference in their lives would be a really meaningful sign that we built something that matters.
What's the thing that makes you jump out of bed knowing you're using AI to solve one of the most human problems there is: aging and well-being?
It’s the people and their stories, but also everything we’re learning about the industry. I have yet to meet someone who doesn’t have something to share about their own situation, a parent, a grandparent, someone they care for, or their own experience. Everyone relates to this in some way.
The more we listen, the more we understand where the gaps are and where we can actually make a difference. We have the opportunity to build something from scratch that fits those realities, rather than building technology and then trying to find a place for it.
That opportunity to build something that genuinely fits is what keeps me driven about what we’re doing.
And I mean, we’re all getting older. This is something that will touch every one of us.
